Could anybody recommend a good hostel / budget hotel to stay in in Nice, France?

    We are 3 x 21 year olds, staying for 4 nights mid-June.
Budget up to around €30 per person per night, may stretch to slightly more if there's a really nice place.

Most important factor would be location. We're not too picky about the quality once it's clean, safe etc.

Does anyone have any ideas? Want to book soon as it's for mid-June - the hostels seem to be very expensive - is this the norm for Nice?

Have you tried accorhotels.com or hostelworld.com ? They might have some budget hotels or hostelsd that suit. Whats your budget?

plenty of budget accommodation (by Côte d'Azur standards) close to the main railway station ie Gare de Nice-Ville

try moving down the coast a little to Frejus and you will get something cheaper, and it's only 20 mins or so to Nice

    Thanks for the answers.

Meyerbeach looks good. What about Villa Saint Exupery Beach? It's highly rated as well, and slightly cheaper. But the only room left on our dates is a 16 bed dorm which sounds like a lot, given it's one bathroom per dorm
