I have a powershower thats constantly dripping from the nozzel and im wondering what would be the problem and would i need a new shower. I forget the name of it and am not at the house at the moment but will post the made and model when im home. Im wondering has the leak to do with the cold spell we had when it went down to -10. I wasnt in the house for a few weeks at that time and didnt have any heating on.

Temp has no bearing. You don't provide much info though so here is a norm for this situation

Sometimes from turning the shower in and off the knob slides in its splines. All that has to be done is the cover taken off and the splines brought back to zero and the knob to zero.

Outside that its dirt caught in the valve or a faulty valve. But this is very very rare

    +1 on manual valve adjustment.

Could also be a faulty solenoid valve.

Would need to know shower make and model.
