Subsoiling after the silage ?

    I was thinking of doing this on one field after cutting the silage but I"m just wondering will it slow down grass regrowth, I've no experience of subsoiling and I don't want to find out the hard way this year.:o

    No it shouldn't. May even see a little extra due to nitrogen being released when you burst up the soil. Conditions are perfect here at the moment so might mole drain the silage ground i just cut. Will need to roll it as will be taking 2nd cut.
