    Hi guys,

I just bought the following upgrades for my desktop PC

    RAM
    Sound Card
    SSD

What is the best way to install these components ?

i.e. One component at a time ? if so, in what order ?

Do I install the hardware or the drivers first for the sound card & SSD ?

Anything else I should be careful of (i know static can be a risk).

Are you planning to clone your current hard disk to the SSD?

If so, I'd advise SSD (after installation, boot up to make sure it works), then RAM (doesn't really matter when you install this) and then the sound card.

Drivers either come with the product or downloaded on the manufacturer's website. Driver's are usually installed after the hardware but each product is different, check manufacturer's recommendation.
