First Ireland gives me a quote with Asgard for 1100 euro with a 400 euro deposit

Then I ring aarons insurance and they give me a quote for 950 with asgard :confused:

I rang first Ireland to see if they could better the 950 and the women tells me theres no way that aarons insurance could have quoted me that because I was a previous customer and not a new customer, Now she said she is gonna ring asgard and tell them I'm the same customer from a different broker :mad::mad:

Is it true once they quote you a price they have to go ahead with the policy?

Its First Irelands issue with Asgard. If Aarons gave you a better quote for the same insurer then go with them. Let First Ireland worry about why Asgard are giving another broker a better price.

She just called me back, She can match there offer with a 100 euro less deposit, Just shows what they can do for ya when they want lol Last week every insurance company was quoting me 1100 so i'm chuffed :D 950 for 21 year old on a 1.4 focus, not bad quote I suppose lads?

At least the massive difference in prices between companies show there isn't a cartel going on.
Don't stay loyal to an insurance company, it doesn't pay. I change every year almost and price from lots and lots of places before I jump ship, it's the best way to keep the premium down.

that's not a bad price at all for a 21 yr old , I don't think insurance is too bad anymore , my s2k is 590 this year fully comp with aviva down from 720 based on 5yrs ncb .
