Check in a hurley?

    Hi there,
    Going on a short trip to Toronto. Can i bring a hurley in my checked in bag? ive tried to fit it in, and it protrudes about 7" (no jokes :-) )

    Any advice appreciated
    Id hate to lose the hurley in the airport
    Travelling wiht Aer Lingus to Amsterdam and direct to Toronto with KLM.

    if it's an awkward shape luggage you'd probably need to check-in as oversize luggage. However, many airlines won't take responsibility for damaged luggages in such circumstance so if your bag gets torn or the hurl damaged because of it sticking out, you'll be able to do nought.
    Best get a bag that you can fit your hurl into.
