Hi ... as per the subject header .... are there any guidelines on this ?
Guy in shop was suggesting it would need to be on 3 weeks before tiling (screed will have been down almost 4 months by the time tiling starts) and to be fully cooled down before tiling starts.
I thought using the flexi adhesive would mean no needs for the heating to be on for a few weeks in advance ???

    Cheers.

I have to 2nd what the shop says - heat on ramping up slowly over time to allow screed to dry and expand contract to final setting. Then tiling onto cold floors and after that you will be ramping up your UFH very very slowly.

Last thing you want is cracked floor tiles - this is not the stage to rush things...

Thanks. Need to start re-planning so !
I had hoped that because my screed has been poured 3 months at this stage that i wouldn't have to wait 3 weeks .... but so be it !

No need to wait 3 weeks. Just put them down using the flexi-adhesive and gradually bring up the floor temp.

Provided your screed was laid properly and the correct materials was used, you need to leave the ufh off 24hrs before and after laying tiles and run at room temp for a day or 2 and you'll be fine.
