    Hi all
Would appreciate some advice here. I am looking at an unfinished house built 2007, roof on and windows in but no 1st fix, doors etc., and no external/internal plastering done. Auc says its as dry as a bone blah blah..
Am getting an engineer friend to come and have a look at it but ideally shouldnt chimneys be plastered to get a seal? House is structurally well built but main concern is damp issues. What is the shelf life of exposed block to the weather? Any other suggestions or things to look out for when looking at unfinished houses would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers.

    Bump.

I have recently come across a house in similar shape so would be interested in this.

My main concern is the block work, will the integrity of the block have been compromised by exposure to the elements?
Can it be torn down and rebuilt, will this invalidate the planning?
