I don't know a lot about them, this just looked good at €99/€79 on upgrade. This model is probably being discontinued.
Similar one on Amazon is £365: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Ericsson-Xperia-Neo-Smartphone/dp/B005771JTW

Edit: This model Sony Xperia Neo V is £230 on Amazon (private seller): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Mobile-XPERIA-Free-Smartphone/dp/B005JS7MMC

It requires a top-up of at least €20 and the priority code doesn't seem to work either.

PS. It turns out I was eligible for an upgrade and it accepted my priority code. The first time around I was trying to buy the phone as a new customer, that's why I was asked to buy a top-up and the code not working.
    Thanks OP.

The code worked for me, I didn't have to buy any top up either. Total price for Upgrade with Priority code was €79.20 as posted.

Does anyone know if this phone is available in-store and if it is easy enough to unlock?

Good phone, had it up until about 6 months ago when I got a Galaxy S3. Decent camera with flash and solid battery life. I paid over 200 for it new so I would definitely recommend it for €79/€99. It was very well supported with Android updates too which was nice.

    Anyone manage to unlock one?

Got my code but didn't apply discount?

Any ideas why? I was purchasing a Prepay for €99

If you're with O2 at the moment, log into your account and try to get the phone as an upgrade, then the code will be recognised.

Had the same problem used the online chat and was told it will only work if you are due an upgrade otherwise you purchase as a new customer for 99 euro and you have to buy at least 20 euro credit too :(

Little bit of added information on this phone, save you searching for it.

Does anyone know if these are available in store, I have a friend on o2 who may be interested in one but would prefer to see one first... Also he doesn't know if he is signed up to the priority moments or not, how would he go about getting the extra bit of discount? Many Thanks

Get it network unlocked via link below for only €8

EDIT: "Xperia neo V phones manufactured on and after 12W11 are not supported. To find out your phone manufacturing date simply see the sticker under the battery."

I wouldnt recommend the Neo V. The OH has it and its taken all my nerdy android tweaks and a cut down rom to get it working well, its a hog on ICS and the NAND is just too small.

If you're going cheap get the Lumia520, WP is much better on lower spec hardware.

My guess would be these phones aren't available in store. The 20% Priority discount is for upgrade phones bought in the O2 online store only. The O2 Online Store has a good returns policy; if your friend doesn't like the phone, they can return it (freepost) within 7 working days and get a refund. To join Priority Moments they can register here: http://o2priority.ie/moments/User/Validate

If your friend wanted to handle a phone first, there's other phones available in-store and online, for example the Xperia E for €80 should be in store. They could have a look at it, then buy it online with the discount.

Got mine in the post yesterday. Really, really nice phone. Bargain at €79 to be honest. Thanks OP.
