    hi this shrub/tree was in garden when moved in ten years ago.I've never pruned it so its probably overgrown. Dying to know what it is.its deciduous and coming into flower now.

    Looks like a wigela, can be pruned back after flowering.

    Definitely Weigela -- and they can be pruned quite hard - if you want to. They can become a bit straggly if you don't.
