What I hear about the steam box sounds interesting, plus the fact that it is reasonably open means I'd be able to use is as a proper HTPC. So if I were to consider one it would probably be that one. Can't say I'm really in the market at the moment though.

Seems this will be the "next-gen" way. Sony have confirmed online activation per title will be "optional" for publishers I've read, i.e: the same sh!t will happen on the ps4, won't be in any rush to get the new Xbox at any rate from what I see so far :pac:
