Some advice about WCFE needed

    Hi all

I have an interview this week for a full-time Level 6 course at WCFE (having just completed the prerequisite level 5 course through FAS). I was asked to bring 2 passport photos. I have no idea how many people applied, but am hoping this is a good sign and not just standard. Does anyone know what demand for places is like there? Are certain courses more high demand?

I am doing a PT Degree course as well, will this be a problem (I will be going into Year 2 in September)?

Finally, will I be able to receive welfare payments to study as I have no way of working if I am doing a full-time course?

    Any advice much appreciated. :)

Hi, have you had the interview yet? Bringing the photos is just a formality.

I had an interview this morning for level 6 course too. I have attended this college in 2005 and I dont have anything bad to say about it.
The most common courses seems to be beauty therapy and social care. I know people who have done these courses the last few years and very popular.
Regarding welfare payments, i dont know if your entitled to BTEA or not but i would go to your local VEC office/ social welfare office (correct me if im wrong) and they can tell you going on your circumstances whats the next step.

    Good luck!
