Now i assume most would say they would assume €5.00 is worth €5.00 but i was browsing through stuff on ebay and i was looking at collectables and coins and the like.

    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/new-irish-5-euro-note-/390595983905?pt=UK_Coins_Banknotes_GL&hash=item5af155ba21#ht_500wt_922

The above is the new €5.00 note priced at €6.99 with postage at €2.25.

The funny thing that there is already one bid.

A friend of mine in work said he once sold two beer coasters he bought in a charity shop for less than a €2.00 for near €200 each.

So what are the more strange kind of things you have seen sell on ebay or elsewhere?

All you need is a picture of a female friend, and a load of knickers from Penneys.
Throw a pair in with the dog every night and make thousands.

Your mate lied to you about the beer coasters.

    Your mates laugh at you.

Wait, it's just the €5 that's got the facelift? Why that and not the other ones?

They're releasing them gradually in ascending denominations.

I'd pay well over a euro for one.

i would imagine the one on ebay was flawless for a future collection. Either that or the buyer is special.
BTW the phrase mint condition refers to coins and if a coin/note is in mint condition it has a greater value

The funny thing is that I don't think that's even an Irish note! On Irish notes the serial number begins with a 'T'.
