Everything depends on when you want to go and what sort of accommodation you want. You'd be better off looking at some travel agent websites than asking here tbh.

Ryanair do almost daily flights to Palma (short taxi or bus ride from Santa Ponsa) from Dublin,Cork and Shannon. check their website for prices.
Different hotels do different deals, from basic room only to all inclusive (ie.meals). again check Santa out Ponsa hotels. BTW the Santa Ponsa Gran is an ideal hotel.
to be honest, most times package deals work out better value and less hassle when travelling to S.P.

We are flying in 2 weeks time, flights with baggage where about 230 with ryanair out of Shannon. Accommodation just outside Santa ponsa but only 10 Min walk which i prefer not to far but far enough to get some decent sleep, this was for 3 people in a 1 bed apartment Jardin Del Mar stayed before and right beside the square and cheap supermarket and a wee cove area and can walk along the bay into town, This worked out at 120 each, Transfers used a private company sun transfers use them for other trips too about 20 euro each. Try the verdemar apartments if your looking for cheap, vista club are good but loads of steps up to them.

    Cost 350 each :)

Any info feel free to ask

    Hello
I was just wondering what is the best and cheapest way to get from Palma Airport to Santa Ponsa bus, taxi, or train?

No trains there. its either bus or taxi. think a taxi is about €30. its only a 10-15 minute spin. Buses are very good too. any idea where you are staying. there are bus stops outside the door of some hotels.

Taxi costs about €45. That's what it cost for me and a friend including two bags. Its more expensive at night than it is during the day. :)

There may be a bus, which where cheap enough around the island but I wanted to stay in the resort as long as possible and not sit on a bus for an age!:)

True, im not sure what time the buses finish at night or begin in the morning. Usually people at the airport looking to share taxis at night (especially the Germans);)
Buses to Palma during the day are very frequent and efficient, even those that travel via Magaluf. make the journey very fast. The harbour in Palma is an unbelievable sight. Nice to see how the 'other half' live.:)

You got a great deal, bargain. You will have a great time, make sure you get a seaview apartment, just send them an email and request one
