Replacement parts -Cerwin Vega AT-40

    The father in law has a pair of Cerwin Vega AT-40's that he is very fond of.
    Last night he "popped" the woofers on them. I'd say he had them too loud.

    I'd safely say he has them at least 30 years. The woofer surrounds are all breaking apart too from age.

    He really does'nt want to buy a whole new set.

    Is it possible to replace the woffers? if so do you guys have any recommendations? :confused:

    Try ebay for replacement surrounds, if you or anybody you know is good at DIY.

    you can get a repair kit for the surrounds but really, given their age, you might be better off checking the spec on the back of the woofer and pricing 2 replacements.
