Anyone have any ideas how to seal at the base of the door threshold? Images Photos. I wrapped DPC from the outside 225mm under the door frame and turned up on the inside. Poured insitu concrete nut enough to leave a wedge between it and the frame of the door for ease of placement. i need to seal the underside of the door from dampness and draft. Also trying to minimise cold bridging. Will post a photo tomorrow to explain. Any help is very welcomed. Sorry if this has been posted before. Maybe someone might post me a link.
    Thanks

The normal practice is to apply non hardening bedding mastic (not silicone) to the underside of the threshold before installation.

Please see some photos at the door at present.
150mm floor insulation UFH and 75mm floor screed to go on top of the subfloor shown in the pictures.

    Anyone have any ideas for:
    1. Thermal bridging minimisation
    2. Airtightness

Is it a bit late with the door installed? I can see your builder suggesting silicone and foam fix...

Ideally the the concrete under the door should finish flush with the inside of the door and the door should have been sitting on the concrete with a non harding mastic between it and the concrete.Insulation is placed between this and the floor and covered with the "wheelchair saddle".Unless you are willing to cut back the concrete it is a silicon and expanding foam solution. Hope that stuff never degrades it is holding together half the country
