    Hi all

I graduated last year so I'm not able to do the j1 anymore even though I'm beginning a masters in September.
I have offer available for bar work in new York for the summer.

Is it possible get a work visa for three months? Or am I wasting my time

    Thank you very much

You won't be able to get a work visa, your employer would need to organise that, and for 3 months summer work it likely won't be cost effective for them.

If you graduated within the last 12 months, you may still be elligible for J1 though..

Thank you very much for the reply.

I will enquire to visit regarding the j1 and mention that I graduated in the last 12 months.
