oil leak

hello i have a oil leak in the zetor 6711 seal gone in were the clutch attached to the side of the tractor ,but need tractor for couple of weeks before i fix it,
would it be ok to top up backend with super uni oil that i have taken,t from the engine of another tractor , the oil was in engine for about 40 hours
will it do any harm

If its not worth putting clean oil into, its not worth fixing in the first place!

Even 40 hours use in an engine will have it black, why would you consider putting this into the clean (hopefully) backend?

yeah good point , didn,t use it will get a drum tomorrow

I think the last drum I got was about 60 euro, need to get hydraulic tomorrow, will know more then!

the only oil that should be going in to the back end of a zetor is 80w90! universal oil is too light new or used!

we would use super uni oil in all our tractors, backend and engine
