Speed Camera on Boyne Valley Drive

    I was driving throught this route today and think I saw a fixed speed camera. I went past a bit too fast so wasnt sure. Can anyone confirm?

    I can confirm that you may have been driving too fast.

    no speed limit was 80 and i was bang on 80 - I wasnt speeding and it was a straight stretch of road. I was just curious as I didnt think we had any fixed cameras. Not looking fro comments on my driving - curious about if we have fixed cameras in the country and if so how many?

    Very few fixed cameras and even fewer operational. I don't personally know where 'Boyne Valley Drive' is but I really doubt there is one there. Can you post a link?

    The only two I know of is one on the M1 and another (burnt out) near Ashbourne. There was one in Lucan at the Spa Well many years ago.

    .....is the Spa. Not to be confused with the Spawell complex and roundabout near Templeogue and Tallaght on the N81.

    Plenty of sightings of vans and Motorbikes on both roads (N4 and N81) in recent days, also plenty of motorbike Gardai on Wyattville Rd..........
