Ok, I've stuck this up before, but this is a clear out so everything MUST go! I've set asking prices which I think are fair, but I'm willing to listen to reasonable offers on most things listed.

    254604.jpg

    254605.jpg

Image 1: (Clockwise from top left)

    1) Mavic Campagnolo freehub body €30
    2) Michelin Cable Lock (think I either have 2 or 3 keys) €5
    3) Fizik Aliante - Red, titanium rails and carbon shell, some small scuffs €35
    4) Campagnolo Ultra Torque Super Record BB €5
    5) Pro Lite Rovigo Sunglasses (Lots of lenses!) €20
    6) Look Keo Cleats (New and unused) Black 0 degree float €10
    7) 3T Arx Pro Stem 120mm 6 degree 1 1/8" 31.8mm €40
    8) Pair of Ebay carbon bottle cages €5

More of a golden spiral I guess rather than the perfect circle I had intended.

Image 2: Mavic Zxellium Road shoes. Good condition. UK 9 (EU 43 1/3). These were €240 new and are fantastic light and stiff shoes, but I moved to Specialized last year and these are just gathering dust. €110.

Just the cups I believe. You can have them for free if you want.

I should have mentioned that all prices are excl. P&P and collection from Ballsbridge or as close to (I don't work in town either!) but seeing as I'm only putting that in now, I'll accept all the above offers and meet in town. If we could arrange a day/time that suits everyone to make it one trip that would be awesome!

    I'll PM in a bit.

Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn't let them go for that. That's well below "Sure I may as well just use them as winter shoes" price.

If you can find a pair of very good condition, lightweight carbon racing shoes for 60 euro then I'd go for them because that is one heck of a deal!

Thanks. €35 new from CRC and only worn once (the rose lenses!) before I got a pair of BBB ones.

Link to CRC €35 (RRP of €50)

€10 is a bit lower than what I think is fair.

I think the ones you have linked have the photochromic lenses rather than the interchangeable lenses?

    I'll offer €15+postage

Thats fair enough but I am reluctant to pay over what I can get a very decent pair of new road shoes for. I reckon I can go €85 max. What do you think?

That's fine kneejerk. I couldn't let them go for that I'm afraid, I'd say go with the decent shoes then.

    Updated list again:

    1) Mavic Campagnolo freehub body €30
    3) Fizik Aliante - Red, titanium rails and carbon shell, some small scuffs €35
    4) Campagnolo Ultra Torque Super Record BB €5

Really would like to dump the saddle. Open to offers on it.

Is the freehub body an FTS-L one, and does it come with the spacer for 11-speed? And are the Campag BB cups english thread?

If yes in both cases, would you accept €30 for both?

Durp! FTS-L? More Mavic buzzwordery...it's this one: Here

I bought it second hand, never used, been keeping it as a spare for my Ksyrium SL Premiums because those nylon washers are made of cheese.

BB Cups are English thread. Yours for free or yes, I'll take 30 euro for both :)

Does it come with the spacer? My question re FTS-L is probably entirely redundant really, I think they stopped selling FTS freehubs many years ago (around the time that I needed to get one for one of my sets of wheels, 'cos Mavic hate me!).

Thanks! If the freehub comes with the spacer then I'll give you 30euro for freehub and cups (and my bargain appetite will be sated despite your valiant efforts to confuse it with your freebie devilry :) )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,505 ✭✭✭✭DirkVoodoo

Hmm...I'll have to check. I don't think I've ever used the spacer and I have 11 and 10 speed. I think I was told in CSS or Cycleogical years ago that they didn't bother with them either.

Well, I found A spacer, but it's thicker than the 0.5mm (If memory serves) that Mavic require.

However, like I said, I've been running 10 and 11 speed on my Ksyriums without any need for the spacer. Never been a problem.

Unfortunately, I had to raid the cups for the retainer clip, they are still free of course, but hopefully you can use an old retainer clip.

The spacer is 0.55mm I believe, but I can just re-use the one that I have I guess. Likewise with the retainer clip. So yes, my offer of 30euro for both stands.

Lowest price is €100. These cost €240 new in Cycle Surgery and weren't any cheaper online. They are still a quality shoe and in good condition, I'm not desperate to sell them and for less than 100 euro I'd just hang onto them in case I damage my other shoes. So, that's my rationale and why I haven't considered bids under 100. If no one thinks they are worth that, that's fine, they go back in the box.

    how much for saddle

35 euro! I can take more photos, but aside from some small cosmetic wear it's still a decent aliante. Carbon shell, titanium rails.

I've recently moved from Aliantes to Romins, but I still have an aliante on my commuter and to be honest, for less than 35 I would just hang onto it for any potential builds in future. I keep threatening to try cyclocross, which will probably never happen. But just in case.
