Cornetto Strawberry..with WHITE CHOCOLATE?!

So today being a gorgeous Sunday with the heat belting down, I fancied an ice-cream. Bought a Cornetto Strawberry (haven't had one in years) and was surprised to see white chocolate shavings on the top of the ice-cream part. When did they start doing that? It was lovely but they didn't always have white chocolate on top!

I don't like Strawberry Cornettos but my dad does, he's not a fan of chocolate, so I imagine that's a fairly new thing.
Any of the 6 packs he's bought in the supermarkets have just been ordinary ones.
