So A ryanair 738 just flew over my head! In on the south side of Dublin, and it flew from the west, in an easterly pattern! Ive never seen such a thing here before, and ive been living here for 2 years!
This seems to be the approach on flightradar! http://www.flightradar24.com/
The plane was very low, it was loud and i could instantly make out it was ryanair!
What approach is this? Ive never seen it before!
The flight is RYR74M from Malaga, it seems to have been circling over dublin before the approach!

They seem to be flying the LIPGO 1N Arrival.

http://www.iaa.ie/safe_reg/iaip/Frame1.htm There is the standard arrivals for RW10

Looks like it was a missed approach onto runway 10, so what you might have observed was the aircraft flying back towards the runway for its second attempt at landing.

Looks like a go-around then he circled back to land, might have been a lack of seperation or and aircraft taking too long to vacate the runway.

Thanks guys , this most likely explains it! I've never seen a plane so low over my house before! Could clearly see the a/c type and airline, couldn't quite make out the reg tho :P !! And it was going in the complete wrong direction for DUB! Thought for a split second it was an emergency diversion to Baldonnel, but a go around explains it!

From the track on FR24, the aircraft flew west (not east) over the south city for its second approach.

Another go around today by FR9431. It was a pleasant surprise to find this going over my house at 1,500ft on this quiet Saturday afternoon.

Pulled up just over the N2 before Runway 10. It was at 3,000ft over the city centre and stayed at 3750.

    Just landed now.
