    Hi guys,

I know there's a similar thread already but it seems to have gone a bit OT.

Does anyone have a list of BJJ Southside gyms? I'm living in rathgar, working 9-5 so preferably train about 6ish. I'm a newb if it makes a difference. I knowof east coast, sbg and some place in dundrum. Any others worth considering? Thanks

East Coast is the best gym in Dublin. Go there

In short, probably nowhere else worth considering that I know of. Really depends on what you're looking to get out of it. If you want to train BJJ with the goal of potentially doing MMA, then you'd be stupid not to go to SBG (best MMA coaches, training partners and they do a lot more NoGi)

If you're looking for pure BJJ and to compete in BJJ, then East Coast have the most consistent and biggest competition team in Ireland, led by the top current competitor in the country.

If you just want to learn jiu jitsu for fitness etc, you can go anywhere but because East Coast offer free 30 day trial with a free Gi, it's a pretty hard deal to beat!
