Opel Corsa - Scrapping

I have a 2002 Opel Corsa 1 Litre that after a number of issues will no longer start. It is not worth the money fixing the car so I want to be rid of it.

I have been doing some research on how to go about getting rid of a non-functioning car (and hopefully make some cash back)

Its obvious that there alot of dodgy operators out there who I would not feel comfortable meeting in person, would likely do alot of damage to the environment during scrapping and I could end up with legal issues a few months down the line (parking fines, etc).

I am in the Dublin area, so what are the best options to make a little money from the car that is also not going to result in me having too much trouble during and after the sale process?

Also, are some of the companies selling on donedeal etc, providing fake Certs. of destruction?
