My friend has a Ford Focus estate 1.8L 1996 flexifuel with a completely shagged engine. It's eaither get a newengine for it or it's scrap. He has been told that its too much work to fit a standard focus engine into a flexifuel model.

    What do you guys reckon?

There was no Ford Focus in 1996, I presume you mean 2006?

What is wrong with the engine that it needs to be replaced? The block should be the same as the non flexi fuel model.
