Sheep found on land - what to do?

I wonder if someone could give me some advice. I went down to check our flock earlier and there was two extra sheep. Definitely not mine, different horned breed. None of my immediate neighbours have these type of sheep and I think they could have come off the road so could be from a farm further away.

Anyway, Is there anyway I can tell from the tags who owns them? Thanks.

You can contact the Dept with the tag number to identify the owner but I don't know how simply it is,I heard of someone recently who had a Ram break in to his field,he didn't want any lambs but when they started lambing,he contacted the Dept to find the owner of the Ram,they told him that he would have to contact the Gardai and they would have to investigate the matter.Of course his local station said they don't deal with such things.
