Need some advice/recommendations: currently have a big between my pitching wedge and my 60 degree and was wondering most people use in this case. Loft/brand/bounce.
    Cheers in advance

Ha! I've two in between! 54 & 50. Cleveland CG wedges, bounce, not sure. 2 dot, Google that and it might let you know. Mid bounce methinks... 1 low, 3 high... All's I know is I can't hit the 54 for $hit out of a greenside bunker coz of the bounce. 60 is grand for that tho.

Any idea what loft your PW is?
I have a 46' PW and use a 56' 14 bounce SW.So I just halved the difference for a GW which gave me a 51'.Bought a 52' 8 bounce to keep the same brand as the SW.
Both wedges Cleveland CG15's. Easy to hit and nice to the eye. If I was doing it again I'd get less bounce on the SW as it's not an easy club to chip with from the fairway.

Ping tour W wedge, 52 degrees. Absolutely fantastic, for so many shots, from little chips around the green, to flying it in at the flag from 70y (hopefully:)) . Close the face for a bit of a chip-and-run, open it up for a decent lob, very versatile. Said it in a different thread, this club has definitely knocked a few shots from my game

its a jpx800 which looking on line is 44 degree wedge. The 60 degree has bounce of 8 and a is taylormade rac. How does the bounce make a diff?

Bounce seems very high for a 56.

    I've a 47 pw (titleist 912 MB)
    52 gap with 8 bounce (vokey sm4)
56 se with 12 bounce (for soft turf) (Cleveland cg15)
    60 with 4 bounce (vokey sm4)

Think ill change the 56 out for a vokey this year though, I think they're far superior to the Cleveland)

More bounce, more sole at the back of the face. Good for sand, maybe not so ideal in wet sand. Some lads prefer less bounce on their SW for this reason, personal taste.

How do you know the bounce?

Op, just try to make sure the gaps between your wedges are pretty consistent to give yourself the most coverage. No point in having two wedges within 3 degrees of each other and a 10 degree gap to the next.

As regards bounce options, its personal choice/preference to a large degree, but the old maxim that "bounce is your friend" is still pretty true generally speaking. If you carry a lob wedge, you probably don't need a "low" bounce option at 55/56 degrees as you won't really need to be laying the face open.

If you can, try out a few wedges and see what works best for you. Don't worry too much about what your buddy uses or joe blogs uses, everyone's pitching action is different.

I have a ping tour S wedge 56-12 and a mizuno mp series 50 & 60. Cant remember the bounce on the mizuno wedges but I much prefer the ping tour. When I have a few spare yoyos I will replace the mizunos with ping as the feel from the ping is unreal. Beautiful club to hit for so many differnt shot types. I'll probably just get a 52 and leave out the 60 as the 56 is plently of loft for my game.

    I have a ping tour S wedge

Whats the difference between the Tour S and the Tour W Leroy?

Not sure to be honest, I have a feeling the Tour S are a later version with different type of grooves but I could be making that up. I would say there is very little difference to the normal golfer.

My gap wedge is 49deg. After that I have Cleveland CG wedges at 54 and 58 deg (think they are both 10deg bounce but not really sure). Love the CG wedges, much better weighting than the vokey and in my hands give far more controllable check.

    PW 47-6
    MW 51-6
    SW 56-10
    LW 60-5

All Mizuno MP T (2008 Series & available at decent prices on golfbidder.com)

Use the 51-6 more often than the other 3.
    SW or LW from sand.
