I bought the adaptor from Malpin - but my clock loses 10 minutes every hour. Turned out I ll need a transformer that does 120v 60Hz BUT the clock rely on the electric power cycle i.e. 50Hz in Europe, 60Hz in the US?

That clock is designed for deaf people (and NOT cheap!) so what can I do??? :-(
