    Hi,

Is there anywhere North side of the city and out you could get 9 holes in for a reasonable price and hassle free?

6.50 seems to be last time that can be booked in Corballis... I have heard Deer Park is not the best, any idea what its like?

The 2 nine hole courses in deer park are terrible, like a big park with a few greens and tee boxes on it, not sure what the proper 18 golf course is like. hollystown is always open for green fees and can get 9 holes handy enough, not a bad course either

which part of North Dublin are you talking about?

Corrstown as 3 9 holes set-up and tee-times always available from 5 to 7pm every evening.

I think its €12:50 or €15 for 9 holes and they do specials on Fridays with food etc.

Would there be an issue showing up unaccompanied?

stay away from deer park, the prices they charge are a disgrace. Their two 9 hole courses and 18 hole course are an absolute joke. Luckily I live close enough so I can hop on for free and play a few holes in the evening but I genuinely wouldn't recommend anyone paying their prices to play 9 holes...which is €15 at the weekend! Deer Park need new owners, there is massive potential there to get a fantastic 18 hole golf course out of the land they have!

To be honest anywhere around Swords would be perfect for you.

Nope, just head into the bar to pay and get your tag.

Played Deerpark in Barton Cup a few weeks I was astonished how poor it was. There were some interesting holes but I think the greens were the worst I have ever seen, looked like 3 types of grass growing, very very inconsistent. If I had to pay for t I would ask for a refund!

The courses I was saying was to make sure it was hassle free.

I was down in St. Annes this evening and it was packed, stuff on most evenings, not ideal. An ok course , Corballis is best bet for a links.

Swords Open - I don't think they've a set price for 9 holes but they'll let you out for €10 in the evening. I've done this before without problem just showing up about two hours before dark. But a phone call in advance would always be appreciated I'm sure.
