Auto Update Certain Apps (new play store)

    Am i missing a tick box or something or just blind.

    Old play store allowed you to select certain apps to keep updated and i had things like search, maps, go sms etc set up to update but not things like compass or flashlight apps for example.

    but now when i try and do autoupdate it does it for all apps i have installed. It seems to be all or nothing.

    Using build version 4.0.27 (the green one!)

    There is an option shown if you go to an app page and hit menu or the three dots icon.

    I also got an option on my phone to set all apps as auto-update when play store updated. However, on my tablet, everything is auto-updating and I don't remember being prompted.

    nope got that far but if you choose this it prompts you to set all apps auto update. click no and the tick doesn't stay, click yes and everything starts updating
