I thought i'd post this for anyone buying from the Sale, as it ends on Sunday the 19th.

I was browsing at the Debenhams sale, until i realised that the link i had followed initially was Debenhams UK. When i went to the Irish one, the prices were more expensive. By quite a lot in some instances.

I haven't tried this, so i'm not sure if it's possible. (If not, Mods please delete.)

But if you were buying from the Debenhams site sale, it seems to be cheaper to buy from their UK [dot com] site, than the Irish one. Shipping is free to the UK, so you'd only pay for Parcel Motel (€3.50).

There also seems to be a larger selection on the UK site.
Also, on both sites, if you add GZ79 at the checkout, you get an extra 10% off

Here is a random example. UK Prices are on top.

EDIT. It actually seems to apply in general, not just during their sale.

I tried this 2 days ago - almost 50% cheaper for a rainjacket 92 euro v 42 sterling. Even used my UK credit card but after getting confirmations of order & despatch they spotted the Parcel Motel delivery address & cancelled the order even though my visa was confirmed by bank....

Are they allowed to do that, I know they want you to shop in your own country etc., but under EU law don't you have the right to purchase from any state provided you pay the price asked and the postage etc.

That's a bit sh!t. So they know (As if they didn't anyway), that they're charging us more, and won't even allow a circumvent that makes zero difference to them.... Using Parcel Motel..

yeah debenhams are notorious for cancelling orders :( I ordered stuff from the UK web site, got confirmation email and taken from credit card, then a few days later said it was cancelled! I used the same card for orders to irish address so maybe use a different credit card the next time, they might not twig it then

Also, it has International shipping = £7..

and on the bottom of the page
We now deliver to 66 countries worldwide
and the Irish Flag.. Very confusing..

I remember when Debs were here first - they had the brass neck to still show the stg. price as well as what they wanted for their clobber in IR£ - which was often a multiple of the stg. price. Resolved to boycott them ever since - and have done so for the most part. What Debs are doing with not being able to order on their UK website is awful. I'm pretty sure you can get the runners the OP posted from sportsdirect anyways! Lets have a campaign to boycott Debs till they change their mind about this???

I am always very careful buying from them in particular as their prices vary a lot. Often you will see prices differ hugely between the web and store coming up to xmas eg increasing prices on certain items so they can claim it's discounted in the sales when in fact the discount price is the normal year round price, when this happens sometimes the web still have the lower price or vice versa.
