Horse slaughtered in Dublin

Seen this on the FM104 facebook page. Thought Id share.

We received a distressing phone call today in regards to an equine which was found Dead in Darndale Park on the N-32 which backs onto Belcamp Lane in North Dublin.

The animal was found disembowelled, with wounds all over its body suggesting it was tortured before it was killed. The Link below is to several pictures of the animal on our phoneshow blog, however we cannot stress enough how graphic & disturbing these photos are, you have been warned, if you don't want to look don't look!!!!.

And if the bastards who done it got caught they would probably just be banned from owning animals.

Just a theory/question was it a mare as in could there have been a fol? and they took it out and dumped the horse.

There really are sick fuks out there.

I thought this but it looks like sections of the animal were cut out cleanly and the entrails aren't bitten, just laid beside the cleanly cut abdomen.

Definitely looks like it was done for pleasure. This can often be a big step towards a serial killer, they often try it out on animals first.

If it was a male, it looks like it may have been castrated as well. Looks like lads came across the horse and decided to mess about with it. I just hope they found it dead and messed with him after at least he wouldn't have felt the pain of it.

Horses are the forgotten victims of the recession. So many f*ckwits bought these animals as some sort of pathetic status symbol and then left them to rot and starve when they couldn't afford them anymore. I'm running the mini marathon for a charity that deals solely with equine animals.

Sadly stories like this are not surprising. There are horses the length and breadth of the country starving to death and being tortured and killed like this poor animal. It makes me sick to my stomach that I share the planet with vermin like these people.

No sign of a struggle and having worked with horses they are extremely powerful. To me it looks like something was trying to eat it or it was hacked up after it died.

Yeah there's a lot of really irresponsible people in this country. It would even be kinder just to have the poor animals put down.
