10 Inch Tablet

My dads netbook died and want to replace it with a 10 inch tablet. It will be used for
for just browsing and youtube and no real need for app accessability. I need to get something reliable with decent display and sound. Any help greatly appreciated

however most low budget tablets (cheaper than ipad (4gen)) on sale now are from 2012, Asus MeMo Pad ME301T (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-MeMo-ME301T-10-1-Tablet/dp/B00BHXR5ZW/ref=pd_ybh_10) is this year model, however with last year specs,

both are great, but I'm waiting for new 'low budget' releases that might have specs of high end tablets 2012.

If you need one right now, I would recommend Asus MeMo Pad ME301T ..

Cheers for the info. Had a look at that lad and the tab 2. Will flubit the two of them. The budget is 300 max...There isn't really much choice at that pricepoint for a 10 inch

Was looking at 7".
Much cheaper than on other sites but delivery is not included in this price.
Also regarding £20 cashback....

Also looking at the ME301T. Need to get a tablet as a present by end of June.

I was going to get a Nexus 7, but had a look at one the other day and I think it's just a tad too small. Not needed really for apps - just for multimedia, interweb..

Was also looking at the Windows 8 version - but it seems to have jumped in price recently way outta my budget - http://www.harveynorman.ie/asus-vivotab-smart-tablet-10-inch.html

Would a 2nd hand Ipad be an option? The ipads are very good. Try adverts.ie or done deal.
