Ok so I have a Google play account and I use it on my main device (S4). I have also signed into other devices. When I set a calendar event on my main device it also shows up on these other devices. Is there any way to erase these other devices so they no longer sync with anything I do. I don't have access to these other devices by the way.

Turn off calendar sync in the settings/Google account ?

If you don't have access to the other devices you'll need to change your Gmail password.
Then on your S4 type in the new password on your Google accounts.

On the other devices your data will no longer sync.

If you know the user of the other devices you could ask the user to go into Accounts in system settings and ask them to remove your accounts from there.

I'm pretty sure the new owner of the other devices will no longer be able to receive app updates from the Play Store once you change your password. Not sure if this is good or bad for you.

So you gave the phones away/sold them with it still paired to your google account?

If you change your gmail password or set up 2 step authentication the phones credentials will be made obsolete and ask for sign in to operate again. As they wont be able to do that they'll have to remove the account and in the process factory reset the phone.

The other device doesn't have anyway to log into my account so I'm not worried about that. The only inconvenience is that it still syncs with my account. I only logged into it once but it still syncs. What I really need is a remote way to stop this sync process.

I did it the opposite way.

My Main google account is mine, I have a 'shared' one for music which is not my default but i have it for multiple devices including herself. Its primary function is the music

Change your password, that deauthorizes all devices. No more sync for them.
