This has to be one of the best value, best looking budget setups. Total cost approx. €30 :-)

Absolutely not! I'm vaping a LR Carto, on top of a Vamo right now.

Nothing extravagant about that, methinks!

    It's the UDT-L Mod: http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/udtl.htm €14

    With an AGR Tank:http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/agr.htm €12

    Cartomiser: http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/bogecarto.htm €1.40

    Total for above is €27.40

Although to get started you'd need a charger, batteries, carto punch and spare cartos

Cartos and tanks are the perfect - lazy, couldn't be arsed setup. Suits my personality perfectly! I do wish that some consistency would come back in to cartos though. Been getting quite a few dud, foul tasting Boges recently. And I don't really like the Smoktech Dual-Coil jobbies. And the Kanger horizontal coil yokes give far to warm a vape for me.

I would love it if someone came up with a premium carto with tasteless super absorbent filler that was quality controlled to the Nth! Would be more than happy to pay an extra euro per carto for that! Used to think BogeGate was much ado about nothing but I am now very much on the side of the conspiracy theorists.

Afaik bogegate was to do with the flavour of the carto, supposed to have tasted like turkey bacon, whatever that is :-) .Boge said the carts were tainted by the condoms they had to use for a few weeks....but who knows! Never got a turkey bacon flavour boge myself (would probably love it!).
A while back I was getting what I thought was alot of dud boges, flooding etc. It turned out to be the v2 agr because when I tried the same carts in a v1 agr they were perfect. Tried everything to fix the problem but couldnt. A vendor told me that some v2's had this issue but even he wasnt sure of the cause.
Superneat, omg your like such a peasant *said in a strong d4 accent* :-)

Using a V V so can adjust voltage to the differant ohm,s of carto,s etc but how does it work with the likes of the UDT-L Mod,is it just drawing the volts thats needed for the particular ohm that your using..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31 awatch

A UDT-L Mod does not push out much power. So, you would need to use Low Resistance (LR) cartos to get anything meaningful out of it. You can help the UDT along though by replacing the spring in the base with one made of copper or brass. This will up the output and ensure you get a descent vape. Mark on Todds Reviews has a video re the UDT-L and the spring issue: http://youtu.be/DNUG8AJXyu8

Thanks awatch will check out that video so.....

Was thinking of trying the UDT-L myself as well. If you did like it, I think it's kick compatible. Using the kick you can set it whatever watts you want as far as I know......

The kick is about 35 euro though I think?

The MVP is getting great reviews. It's VV with a 2600 mAh battery pack so it would last for days, if you like box mods. Pretty well priced at around 56 euro. Don't think it's VW though.

Much bigger than the little UDT-L in short mode......derailing the thread again Green H. I'm not even green or a hornet either.....

So now i,m looking for a kick your saying :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,305 ✭✭✭Green Hornet

Well I dunno. If I was getting a mech mod I'd want a kick I think. If not, the vape won't be consistent will just drop as the battery drains.

Never used a mech mod myself though so maybe its not a big issue...I'd notice it though I think.

Not sure if you can use a kick in a udt-l. It would depend on the conductivity of the inner tube, you would also need 18500 batteries. I think the udt-l has a pretty low amp limit which would mean you wouldnt be able to go too high with the watts.
Could be completely wrong about this but Im sure Grindle or someone will correct me if I am :-)

Never heard of a kick so must look that up,definatly dont want a drop in power thats for sure,thanks...

This is all new to me but to have a mod thats smaller than the likes of a vamo with a good reliable bang will do nicely ....

Wait for the Sigelei Kick rip-off/clone to come out. Should be €10-20 cheaper than the Evolv kick plus the original kick has a high enough failure rate anyway so it's better to have to replace a cheap part than an expensive part. I'd say the failure rate is more due to user problems but par for the course with an open chip that you're manhandling and moving in and out of place a lot.
Never used a mech mod myself though so maybe its not a big issue...I'd notice it though I think.
You really would, it's the worst. Even using a single coil, feeling it drop slowly... Sucks balls.

Eh, I'm a cheap-ass... I even got that Perique in a trade! I won't be tasting that exotic blend for a while 'cos the Mom & Pops concentrates are next on my list, so.... Maybe in about 300mls time I'll get to the Exotic Blend.

I,ll hold you to that :)

Do! At my pace that'll be 4-5 months away.

I feel your pain brother. The amount of dud Bogeys I've had recently is a tad on the scary side *6 out of 10*(I really need to take down the'The Almighty Boge' post!!)
But that is seriously shocking.I've tried only a few Smoktech dc jobbies and actually find them ok,but are they more reliable than Bogeys?
I wonder what the Innokin dual coil carto's that vaperus sells are like?and do they come with bubble wrap...?

Im really annoyed. Still getting terrible bogues, its been going on a while now. 4 out of 5 in a box i bought last week were unusable im lucky i bought a few. Its nearly pushing me towards RDAs but im so lazy. I love carto tanks, that crackle is so satisfying and they just work consistently, usually. This is a pain.

Jesus H Balls! Well you can make that 8/12 now.Thing I can't understand is,I was chatting away to Scott from igetcha69(I sent him a message on YouTube:( ) and asked if he could recommend a good carto and he suggested Boge!said he never had an issue with them, wtf?!

I'm gonna try those Innokin jobbies and see what's the dilly with them.

Guys when you say duds what do you mean? Are they just not working, are they flooding, do they taste weird, are they clogging up? Did you buy them in the same place, could there be a dodgy batch somewhere?
Havent bought boges myself for a few weeks but its usually 1 out of 10 or 15 that are dodgy for me.

With me its a case of them working ok for a few minutes and then burning out. Will happen no matter how careful I am.

These are part of an order from the same vendor.I've had issues with Boges from other vendors before, but never on this scale.I could easily live with 1 out of 10!

    Where do you buy yours?

I bulk buy them at TBS, do you punch them and use them in a tank?

No,just use them on their own.Was all set to try out a decent tank, but if all I'm getting are duds then there's no point.Has no-one tried the iTaste jobbers?

The cartos that come with the innokin kits are actually pretty damn good,if they're the same they should be fine.
