Looking at Volvo S60 on carzone based on 2008 - 2010 and notice that there appears to be no consistency in price. There are four 2008 models between €8k and €14.5k. I know they have different mileage, fuel type and engine size but the variance seems to large for same year and model?…

Different condition and available discount too. I'd say if you saw all of them and got the best price for each it'd make more sense to you.

The 2008 models are the old shape S60 which is not the same as the newer shape S60. The guy looking for €14500 for the 2008 old shape petrol S60 is just a dreamer.
