    Just a quick question.

If I have previous modules complete to level 5 and have obtained all merits and distinction in said modules is it possible to be exempt from those modules that are part of a level 8 degree?

It's unlikely that you would get an exemption, as the subject will be covered in a lot more depth at level 8. You should however find the level 5 modules helpful in that you will have a good grasp of the underlying principles to build on.

That said, you probably need to check with the specific level 8 eight course and college you are interested in. I am speaking from my own experience, not for every available course!
