Hiring a Jaguar Xf

    Hi All,

    Does anyone know where I could hire a Jaguar Xf for the weekend? It's my husbands birthday in two weeks and he is in love with this car! I'd love to hire one for the weekend for his birthday?

    I have emailed Spirit Motor Group but they haven't replied, car rental websites won't guarantee the car you receive when you hire, so I'm lost? I'm in the Kildare area.

    Any ideas? Or anyone done this before?

    Hi there...

    I hired an Jaguar XF back in December 2010. It was for a wedding, I got it as a present for the Bride and Groom and drove them to the Church / Reception etc.

    I can't for the life of me remember which hire car company it was, but it was out in Dublin Airport and one of the main ones (Hertz, Avis etc.). They had a luxury class, which included the XF and a Range Rover. While they said they couldn't guarantee which I'd get in the class, they also said they'd try their best to get the Jag for me (I pointed out a Range Rover might not be ideal for a Wedding) and they were able to confirm a couple of weeks before hand that I was going to get the Jag.

    I got it on a Friday evening and brought it back on the Sunday, I think it cost a few hundred, it definitely wasn't cheap!

    Hope that helps, if I remember which Car Hire company it was I'll reply again.

    Just found it, it's the Hertz 'Prestige Collection' and they seem to have an option to 'Reserve this exact model'. And they've a Jaguar XF listed.

    Fairly sure Hertz have them on their fleet. If you give enough notice and ask nicely they should be able to guarantee one
