Careless Driving Charge

I received a summons yesterday in relation to an accident I was in last year. To summarise there were 2 other cars involved. The middle car said I pushed into the car in front which I think is incorrect. I think he hit first car and I hit him but that is besides the point. The main story of the accident is that we were at traffic lights which were green. The 1st car was stopped and the 2nd car hit it. Reason they were stopped is that a fire engine was passing. The insurance company has paid out and claims have been made for personal injuries, again the money signs flashed before their eyes.

Now I am being charged with careless driving. I genuinely was not going fast. There is a witness to say that the lights were red. This was not the case and I have proof of this from a passenger in the 1st car. It was an accident and i accept it was my fault but this surely does not warrant a careless driving charge.

Does anyone know of a good solicitor as I do not want to plead guilty to something I feel I am not guilty of. I know this will cost upwards of 2-3k but I need my car for my job and will not get insured by anyone if I am charged.
