    Hi,

Have Vittoria Rubino 700 X 23C at the moment, have noticed they have got pretty perished front and back, the tyres havnt been swapped from front to back, would have at most 1000km on them, on poorish road though. Should I have got more out of them or is this average enough?

Is it better to get folding tyres instead of the non-folding?

What tyres are good value at the moment, something multi purpose and durable?

    How about these :)http://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;navigation=1;product=3784;page=1;menu=1000,4,22,35;mid=0;pgc=0;orderby=2

    Thanks

I've used those Conti GPs on my training wheels all winter and found them great - they roll really well and no punctures at all despite riding on some fairly lousy roads at night with limited visibility. Only small issue is that I found that my race blades had to be adjusted carefully to avoid rubbing due to them being 24c rather than 23c!

Doesnt look to make much difference in overall performance so. Any other suggestions on tyres?

The growing trend in the pro peleton is for wider tyres (25mm rears anyway) as they have less rolling resistance and are more comfortable, apparently.

if you like the Rubino's then take the step up to the Rubino Pro folding.
A great tyre and still one of my favourites.
In fact I rate them better then the Diamante Pro I am on at the min.
