    Hi All,
I won't go into the issue too much but I need a good Specialist for a Hip/Glute/Nerve problem that has me off training the last 10 days.
Been to the Physio & not much luck. Got a recommendation for a good Osteopath but she is ill. Have a marathon in 3 weeks & need to decide if it's going to happen or not.
I suspect the problem is more than muscular at this stage so maybe someone who is also good at skeletal issues... and someone who deals with runners I'm sure is a good advantage. I see recommendations for Ciaran Fitzpatrick on here.. but I'm not sure if he is also into skeletal work?
I'm living on Northside of Dublin so ideally someone out that way but if anyone knows a genius with magic hands I'd gladly travel to get this sorted!
Head is melted as I'm sure some of you can understand.
    Please PM any recommendations.
    Thanks a lot
    Ste

Stephen have you tried ringing the sports surgery clinic in Northwood?
Heres a link to them, they're in Santry: http://www.sportssurgeryclinic.com/

Thanks Logger, I tried them last year for a different issue & I wouldn't go back. I just didn't get much for what they charged for 30 mins! Maybe I just got the wrong person.

I'd say so, sure the top surgeons in the country work there...The likes of Ray Moran and the Irish Rugby team etc. get treatment there but I'd imagine its expensive.

I reckon if its bad enough to be more than muscular then you'll be looking at a few sessions so either way its going to be expensive.
I suppose at least a good one will be able to advise on whether its something that can be fixed without the aid of scans etc or having to rest it
    for a while.
