Here's a good one. My missus bought something online in November using her laser card. Since then she has been issued a visa debit card by her bank. To get a refund the third party need the last 4 digits of the card used to purchase the goods in the first place, the card which is no longer in use....what to do next is the problem. Call the bank I guess? Can anyone shed any light on this?

I had a similar one with TSB a while back after they issued me a new card and I needed a refund.

The company I bought from (DABs) just issued refund to the old card and it appeared in my account :)

I didn't need to provide the last 4 digits though. Maybe a good idea to ring the bank or check your old statements, they usually have the card number or at least the last 4 digits on them.
