How much for a new screen for an iPhone 5? The phone is fully functional so it doesnt need an LED screen just the glass piece.

    Anyone else had theirs replaced??

    Cheers

It's all one unit and I think someone said at least 250. Better off getting apple to do it for €211 and keep the warranty

Current price for a out of warranty repair for an iPhone 5 is €241.30 (€211.30 is for a 4s) http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=servicefaq&geo=Ireland&product=iphone
Afaik this should be the max price you'll pay (so could be less). However in case of a broken screen it is likely apple will just give you a replacement phone and charge the full amount (actually haven't heard of a case where they didn't just replace the phone).
Afaik the reason you won't find a cheaper option to fix the screen is that there aren't any cheap fake/aftermarket iPhone 5 screens around.

Thanks wasn't sure of the exact price but its still cheaper than getting a shop to do it and you also keep the warranty
