There is nothing remotely appetising looking in those pictures - mainly because it is not 3.30 in the morning after 12 vodkas and 7 jagerbombs.

I've been to a Korean place one time with a Korean friend and he ordered loads of off menu stuff that was epicly tasty. That is something I'd like to tap into more that land/air/sea burger. (Though I do like the name :))

Was doing some research on Starbucks for college a few weeks ago.

Apparently they have a 'special' menu with custom drinks that only the hipster, privlaged, daddy-do-littles who live in the place know about.

So they can look like even bigger d1ckheads in front of their d1ckhead friends.

Is it for stuff thats extra spicy that it would blow your head off,in that case leave it off the menu.

See this a lot in Vegas, where there is almost always an off the menu 'special' that you have to be 'in the know' to as for.

Load of balls if you ask me.

You do understand that this is not facebook, and the OP wasn't directing "you" to the sun, but bringing it to the attention of everyone, some of whom may be interested.

I want a Super Big Mac, with like quadruple of everything in it, that would be amazing... but 8 times the gherkins...

Wheres here OP? Not wasting my download opening a link from that site. Did you try it your self? What was the result?

Double Big Mac used to be widely available. 4 burgers.

The easiest solution to your problem is probably not to click on links to the sun if you know that your device can't handle it.

I once asked a lady if there was anything "off the menu".

It certainly opened my eyes I can tell you.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,972 ✭✭✭orestes

A sure fire way to p!ss off the staff at a fast food place is to try and order stuff that they don't do. If you want to make weird combinations out of the stuff that they sell then buy it all and put it together yourself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,807 ✭✭✭Custardpi

Anyone ever tried a Mc10:35? A few minutes after they stop officially serving breakfast they'll often have a few of the breakfast sandwiches left which they might serve you if you ask nicely. Get that plus a Big Mac & combine the two. Result! Apparently pretty tasty.

McDonald's took the supersize fries and drinks of the overhead menu years ago but still served them if you asked.

I can remember eating in a Chinese restaurant back in 2005 worth a Chinese colleague and ordering from a cheese language menu. It had dozens of items not on the main menu.

I've found that too, mostly because real Chinese food is a country mile away from takeaways here. It's sometimes cheaper too as they serve their Chinese customers with cuts of meat that Irish people won't eat.

Why is everything on the secret menu a heart attack in food form?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,681 ✭✭✭ColeTrain

Staff at McDonald’s shook their heads when I asked for an off-menu item, the Big McChicken, where fried chicken patties replace the bread in a Big Mac.
But following a bit of negotiation with the manager the secret menu sprang into life.

So there is no secret menu. The 'journalist' just asked them to cook a concoction of shi*E and the manager said 'sound'.
Fellow diners looked on in surprise as I chomped into a Land, Sea and Air Burger, a Monster Mac and a Big McChicken.

I can just imagine the silence as the whole place stopped and looked on in astonishment as someone sat down with what appeared to be something that wasn't on the menu - "ooi he's got a fakin chicken burger in big mac buns'

    Just doesn't sound right.

It's not clear from the article whether the "journalist" was eventually able to order these items by name or whether they just agreed to make these creations following his recipe.

In China they call Chinese food cheese food.

So what do they call cheeseburgers? Or for that matter, cheese?

Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?
