Bus Eireann Strike & Lifts

(Mods, feel free to ditch this if needed!)
Seeing as Bus Eireann are striking for god knows how long...i thought a thread on here might be handy for those who might need a lift or those who might be able to offer a lift if no other bus/rail services are about to get back fir exams.

So to start the ball rolling, i'll be heading to Maynooth today from Kilkenny at about 1pm, will have 2/3 spare seats, DM me if anyone's stuck for a lift!

I see no problem with this, especially given the situation with exams etc. As long as no numbers get posted then it's all friendly in this neighbourhood

I've been taking people around all day - not got a whole load of space but sure it's something. A lot of people stuck and can't afford taxis etc.

If a full on strike does happen then I'd say the college will have to reschedule exams for when it finishes 'cause there's such a huge amount of commuters.

Well, even if they vote for strike, they might not start for a few days, maybe until the end of the exams? (hopefully)

Well this gives the University time to make an alternative arrangement for the exams. Hopefully a plan is put in place.
