Best place to buy running shoes in Dublin?

Was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to pick up some running shoes in Dublin? Had purchased a pair of New Balance online but seem a little tight so have decided to send them back. Don't do a huge amount of running but am looking to do more. Are there many places that do gait analysis (and how useful have people found it)?

Thanks in advance for any advice

My own personal recommendation would be one of the AmphibianKing stores. No connection with them, just have always found them to be excellent.

Thanks, any idea what kind of prices i could expect from their range?

It really depends on the type and brand of shoe. Have a browse of their website and it might give you an idea. There's a few of 'em post regularly here, but they're shy about replying, as it would come a little too close to crossing the 'advertising' line, but they're extremely helpful any time you have shoe issues. Call out to one of the shops. They won't bite!

    Thanks KC.

Mankteln, while we carry a wide range of shoes we are a specialist store and deal mostly with the better spec'd models of the known brands ASICS, Adidas etc. as well as the other running shoes. But our prices on these are the same or lower (loyal customer discounts) than other high street stores.

The website is usually the older model shoes for repeat customers who've bought in the store & know what they are looking for. Don't trust the website if you want up-to-date information or styles. Give us a call, drop an email in the inbox or pop out to see us.

+1 for the King [ no connections, just a satisfied returning customer :-) ]
They will look for the best shoe for you.
In my case, I was always offered 3 models to choose from, so final decision was mine.
Currently running in Kinvara 3 [ love them so much got a 2nd pair from Bray a couple of weeks later to rotate ]

I've been going to Base2Rase(Amphibian King) in Ballymount. I've been paying around the €100 for my shoes which would be the price in other shops or online for the shoes I've been getting. The "free" service/advice and gait analysis has to be worth a few quid so I think I'm getting good value for money. I would recomend them

Base2Race for me too in Ballymount for the same reasons as already stated. Only problem is a) i spend more than i plan to and b) always get lost leaving the place.:pac:
