Hey guys not sure if this is the right section but lately i've been having a sharp pain on my left shoulder(feels in the front delt) which only lasts for a second or so after a chest or shoulder exercise.
It started during a chest session 5 weeks ago when I felt the pain and decided to go lighter on my workout. Took a 2 week break and did my chest yesterday with a heavy bench and in the middle of the bench set I felt the pain again but not as sharp.
Anybody have any ideas if this is serious or do I just need to hit up low weights for a weeks when working anything shoulder related?
    Thanks :D

P.S I have been lifting for 3 years and never had this pain before, it does not hamper my ability to lift weights it and it feels as if it stings my left shoulder like an injection if I could describe the pain.

I can't give an medical advice or anything but it sounds very much like shoulder impingement.

Go to a physio or sports therapist to check it out.

    I'm afraid that's a medical matter, please seek help from a physio/GP
