    Just incase anyone is interested from down yonder my club is promoting this as part of the Derry/Londonderry 2013 city of culture. Perhaps some of you are interested in a trip to derry and this might interest you as well.

    Its a chance to race on fully closed roads and hopefully there will be a good crowd cheering you on up the 500m 16% gradient hill:)

    Best of luck to Foyle CC with this one. That is a seriously tough climb up Shipquay st. The descent back around by the Foyleside Centre should also make for some dramatic racing with riders trying to catch the mountain goats!

    Unfortunate that it's on a Tuesday night so I won't be able to get up from Dublin for it!

    Agree, Ship Quay'd be very tough. Pity no A4. Should make for very entertaining racing. A great idea.

    Yeah there originally was an a4 and longer a1-3 race but I believe police have ruled that out due to road closure times etc.

    Yeah ship wuay street is the place to be standing. Epic hill
