music player stops on sg3

Hi !
Im fairly new to these phones and am not too tech savvy.
The music player on my sg3 just stops after 2-3 mins.
Annoying to say the least!
How can i fix this or is there a better player i can dowload free?

Does the app crash or does it just pause the music? If it's the stock music player I would probably justdownload and start using google music instead

It just pauses and or stops, ya its the stock player

I've had my S3 rooted for a while now so I'm not totally certain, but I think the stock player is different to google music.

No, its not.

Google Music isnt the Samsung music app. Put "Google Music" into the play store or use the link in the previous post.

Also dont be so damn cheeky when somebody gives you advice and as youve said you've no clue what you're talking about.

Theres no one being cheeky at all, the google player is the only player on the phone, it came installed on it and i didnt download any other one.

Switch to de- caf man

Then you're phone is ROM'd. A GS3 doesnt come with gMusic installed stock.

Flash it back to stock.

Got it brand new though from meteor store, so it shouldnt be like this?

Hmm, thats really weird. Unless Meteor added it in their customizations, but that seems unlikely.

In your app drawer(where it lists all the apps) you have "Play Music"(Orange logo) only, no "Music Player"(Blue)?

Ok so i think i got it sorted, i uninstalled and reinstalled the google player and it seems to have worked.
