Has any ever heard of using chalk impact spray on their golf clubs at the driving range?

I tried using lawn bowls touch spray but the nozzle gets blocked.
I'd like to try this one but its not available in Europe for some strange reason. On ebay usa it costs 33euro postage for a $7 can.

Would masking tape not do the same? Lot cheaper and still shows impact area

Yep, I have a roll of it in my practice bag.

also using a whiteboard marker or even a permenant marker does the same thing and wipes off with a bit of water (permanent my arse!)

We used to use cigarette lighters or light a match to blacken the face of our irons, just wiped if off when finished.

I tried masking tape does the job to a certain extent. The spray would be better tho and it has nice instructions with it. Why don't they sell stuff like that here?

Oh yeah I won't be taking a lighter to my RBZ you could end up cracking the face after a while.
